In 2003, Rakesh Roshan directed a film titled Koi Mil Gaya starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. The film introduced Bollywood audiences to the concept of aliens and well, we can never forget Jadoo from the movie.
After Koi Mil Gaya, the makers made Krrish and Krrish 3, and both the films were blockbusters at the box office. From the past few years, there have been reports of Krrish 4, and a couple of years ago, the makers had also officially announced the film.
Now, according to a report in the tabloid Mumbai Mirror, Jadoo will be making a comeback in Krrish 4. A source said, “Rakesh ji and Hrithik, with their team of writers, have been brain-storming on how to take Krrish forward and have finally locked an idea. Jadoo has strong recall value and they felt that with Rohit Mehra dying in Krrish 3, it’d be the right time to introduce Krrish to the alien who gifted him his special powers. They have been discussing the film’s scale, visuals, and other technical aspects with experts in the West.”
When the tabloid contacted Hrithik, the actor stated, “Yes, the world can do with some Jadoo now.”
Hrithik was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 release War. The actor currently has no movies that have been officially announced. However, the source stated, “Multiple announcements will follow once normalcy returns. He is in the process of locking films for his production, too. Hrithik is determined to make sure that the magic of cinema never runs dry.”
