Wembley Arena transformed itself into the famous TNA arena with the six-sided ring as the centrepiece. There was not much wrestling in the first match but the male fans were not complaining as blonde duo The Beautiful People took on Sarita and Taylor Wilde. It had an exhibition feel to it with lots of playing to the crowd before The Beautiful People won the match and added insult to the injury by beating up their opponents after the bell. The noise levels were cranked up further in the next contest with home favourite Desmond Wolfe taking on 'The Pope' D'Angelo Deniro. There was again plenty of playing to the crowd before Wolfe won the contest with his signature move, his version of the RKO. One of the highlights of the night was the the tag-team match of Samoa Joe and Hernandez versus Eric Young and Rhino. There was a string of impressive falls and bumps with the contest having the intensity of a television match. The jaw-dropping moments included Hernandez leaping over the ropes to bulldoze Rhino who was standing outside the ring. And Samoa Joe flying through the ropes to take down both opponents, before the pair sealed victory. But that was bettered by the X-division contest where the winner had to untie the belt from a horizontal bar at the top of the ring. Briton Doug Williams defending his title against 5 other opponents including Christopher Daniels and the appropriately named Suicide. The latter pulled off a string of death-defying falls before grappling with Daniels above the ring. Williams eventually sealed victory and the match evoked memories of WCW's cruiserweight division with the array of talent on show. To TNA's credit, they kept the crowd involved and kept the atmosphere red-hot by giving out backstage passes out throughout the night to fans who made the most noise. More fans favourites' featured in the next contest with a three-way tag match between Team 3D, Beer Money, and the British Invasion. And the crowd got their wish at the end with Rob Terry getting smashed through a table by the team of Bubba Ray and D-Von. The finale was a resumption of the rivalry between TNA world champion AJ Styles and Kurt Angle. It was a contest that the purists would have loved with plenty of technical moves, mirroring their title match on TNA Impact last month. It had its fair share of controversy with the referee being knocked out in a collision. Controversial referee Earl Hebner then came out to officiate. Styles eventually retained his title by striking Angle with a low blow before whacking him over the head with his belt. The match capped off an entertaining evening which showed that TNA and Wembley Arena is a match made in heaven.
